Construction Activities ​
1300 East between I-80 and Highland Drive
Starting as early as Monday, April 21, work will focus on northbound 1300 East and will require through traffic to be reduced to two lanes to accommodate shoulder work. Construction will take place during the day Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
1300 East between Highland Drive and Zenith Avenue
In the next few weeks, traffic for both the southbound and northbound lanes on 1300 East will be shifted to the outside lanes to accommodate work in the median. Construction will take place during the night Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Utility Work
Crews began utility work as part of the preliminary work required for construction. Drivers can expect shoulder closures in the project area.
